Our Story

It all started in 2004 with a business idea and a TV show.

Stefan Mayer has always been adventurous and no one was surprised that the entrepreneur from Cologne and his family wanted to emigrate to New Zealand to turn his idea into reality.

His business idea was to take advantage of the time difference between Europe and New Zealand to offer SAP support for European companies during their nighttime. The rest is history. Today Centrix has 35 employees with headquarters in Hamilton, New Zealand, and a local office in Cologne, who share the same language (most of our team speak German), culture and way of working with our partners and clients in the DACH region.

Centrix’s mission is simple. We want you to have a peaceful, uninterrupted night, no more callouts. We work while you sleep. It is a win-win situation.

The Mayer’s story was documented in the television program “Die Auswanderer” – and luckily ended happily.
